Maria D Hästö is an illustrator and digital artist from Helsinki, Finland. She has a history of going to art schools since age 5. She has a degree in Arts & Crafts, Visual marketing and Graphic design. After working with diffrent graphic design projects for 10 years, she created a children's book in 2021. Since then she has been mainly been focused on illustration work.

"When I got my first ipad in 2018 I fell in love with drawing digitally. I create vector art and I also draw digitally. I sometimes combine real watercolours in my work.

My latest illustrations include a lot of people from different cultures in different locations, with lots of fun details to discover.

At this time of digital evolution I like to highlight that I draw all my illustrations with my own hands and I don't use any AI-generated pictures or image stock material in my work."
